Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) are open-ended pooled trust funds in any acceptable currency operated by a trust entity and made available by participation.

Guidelines

Eligibility:
     Individuals and Corporations

Cut-off Time for Contributions:
     12:00 noon of business day.

Pricing/Cut-off Time for Computation of Net Asset Value (NAV):
     4:00 p.m. of business day.UITF

Fees:
     All assessments and taxes, all costs, charges, legal fees, external audit fees incurred by the Trustee and special expenses which shall be payable to pertinent third party or parties covered by separate contract/s, and disclosed to the participants.

Professional Management:
     The Allied Bank Trust and Investments Division manages the Allied Unit Investment Trust Funds. While trust funds do not guarantee a yield return or income, highly proficient portfolio managers handle the funds with skill, care, and prudence to get the best return possible.

Minimal Investment Risk:
     The aggregate investment in any entity and its related parties shall not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the market value of the Fund except for Philippine Government securities or issues guaranteed by the Philippine Government.

Valuation Methodology:
     The investments of the Fund shall be valued based on the mark to market method of asset valuation. Under the mark to market method, the value of the investment is constantly adjusted based on the market rates.

Risk Disclosure:
  1. The participation is not a "deposit account" but a trust product; and that any loss/income is for the account of the participant.
  2. The participation does not carry any guaranteed rate of return and is not insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC).
